About the Event

Companies and their clients are facing emerging threats that require new solutions to protect reputations and bottom lines from shadow content, disinformation, misinformation, and fraud in a generative-AI world.

We’d like to invite you to join a select group of Page Society and senior industry leaders for a discussion of content authentication, a new technology developed and supported by technology and media companies including Adobe, Google, OpenAI, LinkedIn, AFP and Tauth Labs. Content authentication builds trust into content, protects against fraud, and increases its value.

Page’s Japan Community Chair John Short will share perspective on the new risks facing communicators highlighted at a Page-supported event in October in New York on content authentication and communications organized by Tauth Labs. Please see here for a recent white paper.

Deborah Hayden, Partner, FGS, and Simon Erskine Locke, CEO of Tauth Labs and former Head of Communications at Morgan Stanley in Japan will then discuss the technology, communications use cases, and the importance of multi-layered strategies to address them. Based in New York, Locke is a contributing member of the Coalition of Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA), he is the author of white papers and articles on content authentication.

We will then open up the conversation into a roundtable discussion and Q&A.
